Fosters funeral directors are an independent business who over the years have become a major force in Scotland with regards to the funeral sector and are growing at a considerable rate.

We initially met Tony the Managing Director a few years back when he employed us to carry out all trades for the refurbishment of the premises in Rutherglen.

The joinery works included stud partitions, suspended ceilings and lastly the large reception desk which was manufactured and installed by our highly skilled tradesmen, all walls and finishing’s were then painted to client’s specification. Electrical installations were also carried out which included office and escape lighting, various power points and 3phase supplies for specialist equipment. Lastly, we installed a brand-new heating system to give adequate heat to the property.

Fosters this year opted to open other branches both at Charing Cross, Glasgow and Kilmarnock. J.F.M. were employed as the principal contractor where we were solely responsible for managing Health & Safety on site throughout the projects and complying fully with CDM regulations (construction, design, management), we were also solely responsible for delivering the projects on a multi-discipline basis.

Both these fit-outs included all trades mentioned in the Rutherglen project above, with the addition of ventilation which was supplied and installed at the new branches. These projects were delivered on time and were carried out within budget.

We have now complete five projects for Fosters and are currently working through another three at the moment which will take us up to end of the year. We are also currently assisting with planning for the new branches which will begin at the start of 2019.
